Director of Operations

Madison Franklin is the Director of Operations at NFA, where she ensures the firm’s day-to-day operations run seamlessly. With a focus on efficiency, process improvement, and team development, Madison plays a critical role in refining policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance productivity. She is dedicated to coaching team members, setting performance goals, and fostering accountability to drive long-term success.

With six years at NFA, Madison’s journey began as an intern before transitioning into a Financial Services Associate, where she earned her Series 7, Series 66, and Life and Health Insurance licenses. Her experience in portfolio management and financial planning provided her with a strong foundation in both back-office operations and client-facing roles. As she advanced, she collaborated closely with COO Kristen Wagner, discovering her passion for operations and stepping into leadership roles, ultimately becoming Director of Operations in early 2024.

Madison leads NFA’s Premier Wealth Management program, overseeing both Internal Money Management and Financial Planning initiatives. She also works closely with product partners and third-party vendors, ensuring advisors and clients have access to the latest tools and resources. Additionally, she collaborates with the operations team on advisor payouts, insurance commissions, and onboarding, streamlining key processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.

Throughout her career, Madison has contributed to scaling NFA’s internal money management program, developing financial planning processes, and implementing a new billing software that optimizes advisor payouts. Her deep understanding of the firm’s structure and her strategic mindset have helped her drive innovation and operational excellence. She is passionate about building a generational company, inspired by the vision and leadership of Bob Wagner, Reagan Wagner, and Kristen Wagner.

Madison embodies NFA’s Five F’s, especially family, which plays a significant role in her life. She brings a positive attitude, fresh perspectives, and a collaborative spirit to the workplace, always eager to take on new challenges and support her colleagues. Her professional goal is to become a stronger leader and enhance her communication skills, ensuring she continues to make a meaningful impact.

Outside of work, Madison enjoys spending time at the lake, playing board and card games, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with family and friends. A fun fact about her—she’s left-handed and played club volleyball in college. She lives by the Golden Rule: “Treat others how you want to be treated,” a philosophy that guides both her personal and professional life.
