Kent graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in December 2012 with a BBA in Finance. He started his career in the Property and Casualty Insurance Industry working as a broker/underwriter. After five years in the field he took the opportunity to pursue a career in the Financial Services industry. One of his biggest passions is developing and maintaining client relationships. Kent married his high-school sweetheart, Leah Boatwright, in November of 2009 and together they have two boys.  Their oldest son Turner, born in April of 2016 is an avid baseball player and Kent is actively coaching him most weekends.  The youngest was born in 2023 and spends his weekends playing in the dirt at the ball fields.
